Βασικοί μας οδηγοί σ’ αυτό το ταξίδι είναι η κίνηση, ο αυτοσχεδιασμός, και η έμφυτη ικανότητά μας να ακούμε - την αναπνοή, το σώμα, τις αισθήσεις μας, τα σώματα και τις φωνές των άλλων, τον συλλογικό μας ήχο, τη μουσική που γεννάμε ως ομάδα. Άνοιγμα της φωνής - Ξεκινώντας από σωματικό, αναπνευστικό και φωνητικό ζέσταμα, επιτρέπουμε στην αναπνοή να κατέβει και ξυπνάμε όλα όσα χρειάζονται στο σώμα για να ανοίξει χώρος για τη φωνή - Συνδέοντας τη φωνή με κινητικές δράσεις, αρχίζει να ελευθερώνεται το διάφραγμα και να μαλακώνουν οι περιττές εντάσεις στην περιοχή του λαιμού, οπότε εξερευνούμε την εύκολη - αβίαστη φώνηση κατα μήκος του εύρους μας - Φέρνοντας ένα κείμενο, δουλεύουμε το λόγο: δίνουμε πνοή στα σύμφωνα και τα φωνήεντά του, δοκιμάζουμε να αναπνέυσουμε τις λέξεις, να τους επιτρέψουμε να αντηχήσουν, να μεγαλώσουν και να αποδώσουν τις έννοιές τους - Μπαίνοντας σε ταξίδια αυτοσχεδιασμού, εξερευνούμε την εκφραστική δύναμη της φωνής. Ξεκινώντας από τις ανάγκες και το ένστικτο του σώματός μας για κίνηση, προσεγγίζουμε τις ανάγκες και το ένστικτο της φωνής μας για έκφραση (ήχος-λόγος-τραγούδι), αφήνοντας πρώτα το σώμα κι έπειτα τη φωνή να γίνει η οδηγός. Κύκλοι Πολυφωνικού Αυτοσχεδιασμού - Ως ομάδα πλέον, συντονίζουμε τις φωνές μας συνδημιουργώντας μουσικά ηχοτοπία. Καλλιεργούμε την ικανότητα να ακούμε, με προσοχή κι ευαισθησία, να συντονιζόμαστε με τις υπόλοιπες φωνές, κι εν τέλει με τους ανθρώπους γύρω μας. - Πυροδοτούμε την μουσικότητα και τον αυθορμητισμό μέσα από παιχνίδια-συνθήκες αυτοσχεδιασμού, καλλιεργώντας την ικανότητα να κουρδίζουμε και να εναρμονιζόμαστε με ενστικτώδη τρόπο - Διαλέγουμε μία θεματική τη φορά, και μπαίνουμε σε συλλογική σκέψη και κατάθεση ιδεών, εικόνων, στίχων, αισθήσεων γύρω από αυτή, ώστε να συνδημιουργήσουμε πολυφωνία και συλλογικά τραγούδια της στιγμής, μέσα από ευέλικτες δομές ομαδικού αυτοσχεδιασμού - Τέλος φέρνουμε μαζί όλα τα στοιχεία που έχουμε αγγίξει πρωτύτερα, στα group-soli : όταν όλη η ομάδα δημιουργεί μια μουσική βάση, ή ένα ηχοτοπίο, για να υποστηρίξει τον αυτοσχεδιασμό μίας φωνής κάθε φορά (ήχος – λόγος – τραγούδι) , καθώς εξερευνά την ελευθερία που χαρίζει η συλλογική υποστήριξη *Η πρακτική συνοδεύεται από ένα μουσικό όργανο που λέγεται Shruti Box Πού απευθύνεται Το εργαστήρι απευθύνεται σε ανθρώπους που επιθυμούν να εξερευνήσουν τη φωνή τους σε μεγαλύτερο βάθος, μέσα από το σώμα και την αλληλεπίδραση. Όλα τα επίπεδα εμπειρίας είναι ευπρόσδεκτα και συνυπάρχουν δημιουργικά στη συγκεκριμένη προσέγγιση. Πρακτικές πληροφορίες *Ως προετοιμασία για το εργαστήρι θα χρειαστεί να μάθετε απ’ έξω 3-10 γραμμές από ένα κείμενο της επιλογής σας, κατά προτίμηση κάτι το οποίο να σας αγγίζει. Δούλεψε με δασκάλους τη Ρόζα Προδρόμου, τον Σταμάτη Ευσταθίου, την Αλεξάνδρα Καζάζου, την Juliana Bloodgood, τον Rafal Habel και άλλους, κι έπειτα ολοκλήρωσε σπουδές ως ηθοποιός στη Σχολή Θεάτρου Δήλος (2020). Δίνοντας πια έμφαση στο άνοιγμα της φωνής μέσω της κίνησης, άρχισε να παρακολουθεί εκπαιδεύσεις στην μέθοδο Roy Hart με δασκάλους όπως Ulrik Barfod, Edda Heeg, Walli Hoffinger, Saule Rhyan, και άλλους, και ολοκλήρωσε το μονοετές πρόγραμμα «Voice in artistic expression» στο κέντρο Roy Hart στη Γαλλία (2024). Όσον αφορά το τραγούδι, άρχισε να το αγαπά ως μέλος χορωδιών (όπως Rosarte), και συνέχισε κάνοντας κλασσικό και σύγχρονο τραγούδι με την Dinah Stieringer, την Ευαγγελία Καρακατσάνη κ.α. Έχει εργαστεί στο χώρο του θεάτρου και με παιδιά (μουσικοκινητική αγωγή, play based learning), και τα τελευταία χρόνια διδάσκοντας εργαστήρια και εβδομαδιαία μαθήματα πάνω στο άνοιγμα της φωνής και τον πολυφωνικό αυτοσχεδιασμό. Our main companions in this journey are movement, improvisation, and the innate capacity to listen – to our breathing, our body, our instinct, to the voices and bodies of others, to our collective sound, to the music we give birth to as a group. Releasing Voice - Beginning from movement-breathing-vocal warming-up practices, we allow the breathing to be grounded lower in the body and we awaken the resonant chambers, opening space in the body for the voice - Combining voice with certain movement patterns, our diaphragms release further, we begin to channel more and more of our breathing’s potential into the voice, and as unnecessary tensions begin to soften, we explore sounding with ease throughout our range - Bringing a text into life, we move through its consonants and vowels in order to breathe the words, allow them to sound, resonate, expand and reveal their meanings through sound itself - Embarking on improvisation journeys, often with the support of a partner, we explore the expressive power of the voice. Beginning from the needs and instincts of our body for movement, we approach the needs and instincts of our voice for expression (sound – speech – singing), by allowing first the body and then the voice to guide the way Circles of Polyphonic Improvisation - Tuning into the group now, we begin to create musical soundscapes. We dive into the capacity of listening, with attention and sensitivity, and of attuning to the surrounding voices - We spark our musicality and spontaneity through playful improvisation conditions, cultivating tuning and harmonizing, in an instinctive way - We collectively brainstorm on themes of our choice for poetry, lyrics, images, sensations to arise, and then we co-create polyphony and songs around them in the moment, through flexible improvisation structures - Connecting all the different elements touched, we lastly embark on «group-solo journeys»: where the whole group creates a musical base, or else, a sound-carpet, for the improvisation journey of a solo voice (sound - speech - singing), while it explores the freedom collective support gives *The practice is accompanied by a musical instrument called Shruti Box Who is it for This workshop is for anyone who would like to explore their voice’s potential through an embodied and interactive approach. All levels of experience can co-exist fruitfully in this approach, as we can all deepen and evolve our practice beginning from different starting points, while being inspired from one another in the process. Continuing this work, the release of the voice through movement and vocal improvisation became her emphasis, so she started training with teachers of the Roy Hart Centre such as Ulrik Barfod, Edda Hegg, Walli Hoffinger, Saule Rhyan, among others, while then she completed the one-year deepening course “Voice in Artistic Expression” at the Centre Artistique International Roy Hart in France (2024). When it comes to singing, she fell in love with it when she was little as a member of choirs and later on trained individually in classical and contemporary singing with Dinah Stieringer, Evangelia Karakatsani and others. She has worked in theatre and in children education (play-based teaching and musical – movement play), and the last years in facilitating workshops and weekly classes on releasing the voice and polyphonic improvisation. Voice in Movement is a combination of the different approaches she has trained in and discoveries from her own practice, brought together by the need to share the magic that happens when one allows to be guided by their voice and body, as well as the power of many different voices joining each other harmonically into the song of the moment.
